PlaidJacket
What's the most affordable way to video and analyze your golf swing? I have a practice area in my back yard. It consists of a mat and a net so far. I have recently started taking videos of my swing from behind and face on. I follow the method by Michael Breed in his book; A Picture-Perfect Golf Swing. Currently I'm using a little Kodak PlaySport cam that I mount on a tripod. It will shoot up to 60fps in 720p-HD. After I have taken several vids I connect my cam to my PC and view/edit my swings using V1 software. I would consider upgrading my camera to achieve a higher frame rate. I am also looking for a better software program to analyze my swing with. V1 is not that good. The software is pretty dated compared to more modern software. (It looks like old Win 98 stuff) I'm really not interested in any more iPhone apps. I have that already. Anyone have experience or suggestions? GolfSpy WD
I've used the slow motion option on my Samsung Note 2. It works surprisingly well. @GolfSpy_WD
PlaidJacket
I have an App on my iPhone/iPad called Ubersense that's really good. Check it out. But it's not what I'm wanting at this time. I'm needing either or both.... a better camera for taking higher frame rate video and better software to analyze my swing with afterwards. On my PC. If anyone can be of help with advise I'd sure be interested in hearing about it. Thanks.
