If you buy the clubs, do you get any of the fitting fees applied to the club cost?  How competitive is their club pricing?

 

Great write up Zinger. I had this experience as a part of the MGS staff contes a year and a half ago. Yours was a bit different in that you had all of that white sand piled up against the outside of the building where as mine was during a tropical storm. Is the sand always that white in Minnesota?

 

I grabbed Jax's question because there is a Performance center at his home club. The fees are not applied to the cost of the club. You are getting half a day for the fitting. At your TPC the guy fitting you fits all the TMag east coast players. Just listening to him tell the storied or putting your avatar next to that of one of the myriad of tour players is worth the price of admission.

 

I can't speak to the pricing but I do know that if you buy from the one at Sawgrass they build your clubs there and you go out the door with them. Also because it's Florida you start outside, go inside, have the recommendation and then go back outside again to make sure the recommendation works.

 

It's way too cool.

 

For guys who have the irons with the slots are they really that forgiving? I'm having a hard time imagining a 5 or 6 iron that would be more forgiving than my i20s. The irons do look sweet though.

So I contacted my TM guy the other day to inquire about a 12º SLDR, being that is the last loft I have to try, and most likely the one I need for adequate height with this head. "Hold on. New SLDR coming out 5/5."

Wow. Really? Is that the 14º head, or something else?

14 is out already, might be the white version though...
