PUMA Golf Masters Scripting

Not that it's particularly relevant to the discussion of the day, but as just an FYI of sorts, I'm completely happy with shirts from PUMA, Nike, or adidas, but when it comes to pants, I've tried all 3, and am solidly in the PUMA corner (though static can be an issue in the winter).

As another sort of FYI, as big of a PUMA apparel guy as I am, I thought the fall 2013 lineup was just ok, and while there are some things I really like in the Spring '14 lineup, I don't love it top to bottom.

Good news though, wait until fall. We saw the lineup at the PGA show, and it might be the best we've seen from PUMA in a long time.

But I digress...what would a series of scripting posts be without PUMA? So to that end, here are the scripts for PUMA's 3 entries in the Masters field.

Largely a perfect illustration of what I don't love about the Spring lineup. Weird patterns, gradients, etc., it's like the goal is to give everyone else on the golf course a seizure or something.

That said, I actually need a purple belt (as much as one can need a purple belt), so I like that piece of things. Also love Friday's Beetroot Biofusion shoes. Rickie on Sunday almost always looks good, and there's no exception here. Orange is awesome. This is a fact.

Thursday's shirt is a disaster, but blue pants are always good. I'd wear Friday and Saturday without hesitation, so I guess the Jonas look is actually fairly solid.

#CanadianSunday is a thing now, and that's awesome, even if I'm not Canadian (I practically live in Canada, and Canadians not named Dan love me). Thursday's shirt isn't my thing, but next to the Friday option it looks good. Saturday and Sunday while a bit understated by PUMA standards (not that there's anything wrong with that) are very solid. Like I said, I'm totally onboard with #CanadianSunday, and I'm giving serious thought to adopting the look my self for the season.

Jonas's Sunday shirt and Wed/Sun shoes are pretty much the only thing I would buy in that lineup.  I love Puma apparel, but I agree the past few seasons have been lacking.

John - Rickie does have Sunday orange, just plaid pants instead of the solid color
