WHAT'S UP!

 

I Have been playing golf off an on for about 20 years. Maybe once or twice a year.

 

I have decided since I am almost 50 that this is probably be the only sport that I will really get to participate in going forward. Saying that I have decided to make this the Year of Golf. Last year I played 3 times and shot in the 115 to 125 range. This year I have played 5 times already, bought a new driver (my old one was from 1995) and my last two rounds were a 86 and a 90. Not too shabby for a old man with a bad back, stiff neck, and just getting my stiches out of my foot.

 

Well that's my game in a nut shell.

 

hopefully I will be able to pick up some tips and some good advice

I lived in Winnfield in the 1980's and played at Pine Ridge Country Club.

I usually Play Quebes, but also like to play Old Oak. We have some friends that live Winnfield, have been at their house on Saline Lake

When I lived in Winnfield, LA a buddy and I used to play in the annual Bonnie & Clyde Golf Tourney......up around Shreveport.....have you ever heard of it?

 

It was called that because the golf course was close to where they met their demise.
