What do I do to be able to set up my capabilities to receive and send PM's? Sorry if this is foolish but I don't know how :)

Click on your name in the top right corner of this page...
Then "My Settings"
Then uncheck "Disable Private Meggenger" - it's the 4th box down...

Thanks for your reply. I've had it unchecked from day one and I still do not see the message icon like yours ?
