L.I. Rich
Check out the slideshow of Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point. It's scheduled to open in 2015, and as a NYC course, should be accessible and reasonably priced. So far, it looks awesome.
In my bag: Ping G LS Tec 9* Tour 65 Stiff, Cobra F8 3-4 wood HZRDUS Yellow 6.0, Calloway 21* X Forged Utility iron (steel stiff), Ping G30 white dot 4-9 Stiff 110 gm KBS tours Scor 48,52,56,60 Wedges, Nike Method Core MC3

Jmikecpa
It is going to be spectacular and a nice test of golf. I toured it a few months ago through some contacts I have at Trump and it looked great before it had even really grown in yet. L.I. Rich
Was it windy? I would think that the wind will be very challenging. Did it look like there were elevation changes? I can't tell much from the pictures other than that position looks pretty important and there will be plenty of up/down/sidehill lies.
In my bag: Ping G LS Tec 9* Tour 65 Stiff, Cobra F8 3-4 wood HZRDUS Yellow 6.0, Calloway 21* X Forged Utility iron (steel stiff), Ping G30 white dot 4-9 Stiff 110 gm KBS tours Scor 48,52,56,60 Wedges, Nike Method Core MC3

Jmikecpa
It was not windy the day I was there since it was in mid August and hot as heck. There are not a lot of elevation changes since the parcel of land was essentially a flat reclaimed landfill, but there are subtle changes that will lead to some awkward lies. Trump did a really nice job finishing this place up and if he had not stepped in not sure it would have ever opened. Here is a nice article on the course: http://www.golf.com/courses-and-travel/trump-ferry-point-exclusive-sneak-preview WITB 2024 Driver: Qi10 LS 9* HZRDUS RDX Smoke Blue 60 6.5 Fairway: M5 15* Evenflow Black 75g 6.5 Fairway: Sim 19* HZRDUS Red 75g 6.5 Hybrid: 0317x 22* KBS Proto 95x Irons: X Forged CB 5 - PW MMT 105 TX Wedges: Jaws Raw 50*, 54* & 58* TTDG "OG" Spinner Putter: Toulon Madison BGT Fire 34.75" Ball: Z Star Diamond

Jmikecpa
Good article. Whets the appetite some more! Trump does a good job with his courses. I have played Trump National in Westchester, Bedminster and Philly; all are fantastic. Trump National in Westchester is in my top 5 courses that I have played and was lucky enough to play 6 rounds there this year. I am heading down in February to play Doral and one of his other courses down there.
