Check out the slideshow of Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point.  It's scheduled to open in 2015, and as a NYC course, should be accessible and reasonably priced.

 

So far, it looks awesome.

It is going to be spectacular and a nice test of golf.  I toured it a few months ago through some contacts I have at Trump and it looked great before it had even really grown in yet.

Was it windy?  I would think that the wind will be very challenging.  Did it look like there were elevation changes?  I can't tell much from the pictures other than that position looks pretty important and there will be plenty of up/down/sidehill lies.

It was not windy the day I was there since it was in mid August and hot as heck.   There are not a lot of elevation changes since the parcel of land was essentially a flat reclaimed landfill, but there are subtle changes that will lead to some awkward lies.  Trump did a really nice job finishing this place up and if he had not stepped in not sure it would have ever opened.

Trump does a good job with his courses.  I have played Trump National in Westchester, Bedminster and Philly; all are fantastic.  Trump National in Westchester is in my top 5 courses that I have played and was lucky enough to play 6 rounds there this year.  I am heading down in February to play Doral and one of his other courses down there.
