Since Zinger had his elsewhere I'll start a thread here - what's yours?

 

Mine's hitting the green on 17 at TPC Sawgrass coupled with breaking 40 on the front nine (our back.)

Mine was pulling a career low 66 out of my ass in a season where I didn't make any progress handicap-wise.  Just got lucky once. 

 

Every year that goes by I'm only going to get worse.  I had significantly fewer eagles this year than last, but a few more turkeys, so maybe the putting did improve.  It felt like it did.  Short irons got much better thanks to Scors.

Getting cut to 5 for the first time was definitely my highlight - it's my friends day as well, means I give them an extra shot!

But isn't it worth 2 shots for the intimidation factor of them having to play a lower cap?

Finally hitting a bucket of balls after a six week post-surgery layoff. Blissfully beating balls in a 180° dispersion pattern. It's not about the scow right now, it's just about actually getting to play.

Kenny, think that only works for people who don't know you! If you've played together for 20 years+ not so much.

Welcome back to golf, Dave.  A few years back I broke my wrist in late May, and wasn't allowed to swing a club until mid-September.  It was the longest summer of my life.  I still went to the club to have lunch with my buddies, but I must have looked like the sad puppy in the pet-store window when I was watching the guys play up the 18th.  Those first few sessions back on the range were doubly sweet!

Until I get to win the club championship at my local course and putting my name on the trophy my Dad won (my ultimate goal), it will always beating the biggest d*ck on the golf course after all the disrespectful things he said about my father. When a 7 and a 14 handicap can't beat a 3 and 9 handicap in a playoff by 1 point.... :D

I have a couple as well.  The TMaG Loft Up trip was probably my overall highlight, it was such an amazing experience.  Also in contention though are going through a span where 7 out of 9 rounds where in the 70's (I had been averaging maybe one or two a year before that) and getting my handicap down below 5.

I played in a lot of great tournaments this year and got to meet some really awesome celebrities and athletes, but my golf highlight this year was getting into a normal Saturday games with some great guys on Long Island.  This has been the one aspect of golf that I really missed once I moved from Philly to LI.  I always look forward to a game on the weekend and after getting hooked up with these guys it is a great way to relax and start my weekend with the family.

It wasn't my lowest round, the weather was windy and chilly and the fairways were the normal length of the first cut of rough, but getting a chance to make it back to my hometown for the first time in two years and playing a round with some old friends this Fall was my favorite round of the year.
