So I just ordered a dozen New Zealand Possum Leather golf gloves... Yeah... Possum leather... From possums. Lol. Anyway, I found them on eBay after someone posted a 3 for $14.50 deal from Amazon. I got a dozen for $19.95 on eBay. I'll review upon arrival

Well, they came in today, and while I haven't swung a club with them yet, they fit well and they're nice and supple.  I'll report back after Saturday's round.

this will be interesting. the possums are actually trapped (shot) and exported from NZ to asia for their meat apparently (though I'm not sure in what quantities). I've worn some extremely comfortable possum slippers before, but my guess is that the gloves come sans fur?    that's definitely a good price though!

I'm wondering if you're faced with a particularly scary shot, with forced carry over a gorge or something, if they'll curl up and play dead?

I'll update this later with a full review but I'm about to order another dozen. They're quality and at this price you can't go wrong. They're gonna hold up well too I believe. The Velcro is also strong

Be sure to let us know Rook. My brain is in gear (imagine that) I am thinking this could turn into a Southern redneck enterprize as many possums as we have down here. I can pick up at least 10 roadkill possums on my way to work every morning and they aint the same ones every day

I believe these are captive possums they're using.  Regardless, these gloves are great, IMO, especially at the price. They're as soft and supple as any cabretta leather glove I've tried, the fit is good, and they're no-nonsense.  Even if I get 2 months out of each glove (though I believe it'll be much longer), for $20 I'll have gloves for 2 years.

I've got a second dozen on the way, and all 3 guys in my normal foursome all bought a dozen.  LOL.  Yeah, the logo is kind of cheesy, but I don't really care about the logo on a glove.

It's only Cadet sizes, is that what you normally wear? Just wondering how they fit compared to a standard glove.

It depends on manufacturer as to what size I wear. In nike it's normally a regular large, in these I wear a cadet large

It may even vary a bit within the same manufacturer.  I've been wearing FootJoy gloves and was able to try them on before I purchased them, realized when I checked my glove size last night before I ordered these possums that I've got a mix of ML & CL.  What's weird is, the CL actually seems a little less snug than the ML but they're both comfortable to me.
