Due to the Paderson Shaft promotion, we had a big jump in new members over the past month -- some stayed and contributed, others came and went.  But when it comes to new members, Jbill8802 is definitely MyGolfSpy material!  His posts were informative, helpful, humorous and always spot-on.  It's what we like about our members!!!
 
We truly appreciate the contributions of all of our members, new and veteran, but when a newbie shows this kind of commitment, well, it has to be rewarded.  

Each month we select one distinguished poster to be our MyGolfSpy Forum Member of the Month, and they'll receive a special avatar to show off their accomplishment. 
 
The MGS Member of the Month isn't about who has the most posts. How are you playing?! Haha. Winter golf? Never heard of a course that offers it. Only thing that makes sense to me is on a simulator?

 

I'm in DuBois. roughly 3 hours or so from you. You're lucky it's only been two weeks! I haven't swung a club since October!

I've found that most courses near me only close on days when the weather is terrible or the course is covered with snow. This is my first year playing through the winter. It's really not bad if it's in the 30s or 40s and there isn't much wind. Fortunately this winter has been much better than last year. Plus there are no simulators or anything near me that I'm aware of.

That's pretty interesting. Sadly all of my local courses close for the winter. I think one opens in February for a winter golf classic or something, but that's all.

 

I don't have any local simulators either! It's terrible. There is about a 3 week window of winter rust at the beginning of the golf season! Haha.

I went with a black snake putter grip courtesy of the kind gentlemen at Ace of Clubs. Great feel and top notch craftsmanship. Can't wait to get it out on the course. Thanks again guys!
