You should have at least 60psi.  If over 90, be careful; short bursts only.  I've had no problems putting the PureGrips on or taking them off.

I even used air to put on a BestGrips leather grip on my putter, but it's tricky.  I used a little grip solvent to help ease it on.

Well, my portable vise finally showed up(ordered at Ace Hardware). So I set up my portable Workhorse bench in the driveway, cranked up my new pancake air compressor and started my first regroup.

 

I chose my PW first as it was the worst. I did not have the special c hook razor knife yet so I used and old razor knife and ripped off the old grip, then removed the tape. I then cranked on the air and installed the P2Wrap Pure grip. Wow! I was impressed. It took longer to remove the old grip than to install the new one. I then re gripped my 4H. Gotta get one of those C hook knives. I know now that I can carefully do the rest of my clubs.

 

Once I had everything, it was easy peasy lemon squeasy.

The hook blades are really nice for cutting off graphite. I wouldn't worry quite as much cutting off on a steel shaft

Well, here is my makeshift regripping workshop.  I set up just outside my garage last night as the light was better.  Regripped all the Mizuno JPX800 Pro's, a Powerbilt 3 Hybrid and a SCOR 50* Wedge.  Can't wait until Saturday to try them out.  The Pure Grips went on pretty easy....after I removed all the old tape (#painintheass).  The rubber insert that holds the shaft kept slipping out of the vise......any suggestions?

Tighten it up. Yeah, I know you're afraid of doing something to the shaft, I was, but you won't.

I use a heat gun to get the old tape off off steel shafts - makes it easy. Have used it on low to get tape of graphite sjafts with no issues yet.

I haven't really had an issue getting old grip tape off clubs that I have re-gripped if a layer of masking tape is put on before the grip tape.  I never put grip tape directly on the shaft.  

 

The nice thing about the PUREs is that you will not have to remove grip tape again... well, unless you buy new clubs.  :)

and that is a great selling point......what I like is not only are the grips easy to use, but also the Pure grips have a great "feel" to them.  Can't wait for tomorrows game with the Pures!
