I've been waiting for a local shop to get in a 12W for I think 3 years now so I can try these on.

Are they mesh now? I hope not.

Why is everything mesh all of sudden, aside from the outrageous profit margins?

Shoes get worse in quality and materials every year from every manufacturer it seems, along with yearly price increases. I'm pretty down on the industry as a whole for these decisions.

Both the TW13 & TW14 shoes have the Flywire in them.  For me, with narrow feet, this allows me to fit my feet into them better and makes them much more comfortable.

I noted that the TW15's do not have replaceable spikes in the toe area.......interesting.

The silver pair is sick. That red pair? Yikes. I'd rather go full Kryptonite Kobe Volt, than hat awkward black and red fade.

Just an honest question:

Can anyone tell me why you are excited about these? They are a mesh shoe. You got leather up until this year.

You and I know that the mesh is cheaper to produce. As is including fewer cleat recepticles.

I just see boardrooms and shareholders when I see these products. In fact, I get very disappointed when I see these products.

Describing the 2014's as leather is a loose interpretation of the word leather.

Oh, were those pleather as well for $189? Oof. I tried to find a 12W in the local stores to try on in the two TW shoes and didn't have any luck. I hadn't noticed their material makeup. Heard they got stanky after a while.

Some of the best shoes I ever had were Nike Air Academy in wide width. Air sole. Leather. Soft. Laces. 2 yr waterproof, and like walking on clouds for $99. Wore them for 3 seasons!

I tried on the 14's three separate times and each time it was a 10.5. Ordered one from Nike and it was the narrowest show I've ever tried on.

Don't get them close to a fire or anything warm. They may melt.

For those of us who play in the southern part of the states, mesh is the only thing you should buy. Why? Breathability. I know it can get hot and humid just about anywhere in the states, but I challenge you to wear leather shoes on a 100*+ day with 80% humidity and no wind in Houston, only to have a quick shower come through and give a quick soak with the sun coming back out quickly. Don't get me wrong, I have a pair of leather Adidas gripmore and they're great. I enjoy the style and durability, but I won't wear them in the summer because they can't breathe. Last thing you want is your dogs wearing out from the heat before you finish the round.

I wouldn't be so quick to bash shoes just because they don't fit your own eye. There are plenty of leather shoes out there for you.

I definitely understand material makeup and when its most applicable. Its mostly commentary on getting what you paid for. Mesh is cheaper to produce and now costs as much as leather. Feels like a ripoff. Ya know? If the mesh shoes were priced according to production costs, it wouldn't elicit any response from me.

In virtually every product I look at in stores, etc, the quality is down, and the price is up. Golf or otherwise.

And Age of Ultron isn't going to be $.25 May 1st either not will a Big Mac. Prices go up. Your money has less value. A lot more goes in to shoes than mesh or leather. You have labor, shipping, materials, distribution, salaries, it, marketing, taxes, r&d, bad credit, theft, wholesale mark up. All of this and more adds up.

I don't think I want to get into the costs of drilling for a barrel of oil versus raising a steer from birth to market and then processing it for consumer goods. But that's what we're talking about. Not even close on production costs. Its all profits motivated. I won't allow them to do it without at least offering some protest in turn. LOL!

I tilt at windmills too much at times.

I get what you are saying 100%. But the fair price of something is what the market is willing to pay. Nike has every right to make as much as they can on their product. If they are too expensive, the price will drop. Capitalism, ftw! Vote with your pocket book!

I do. And I voice my opinions. I hope the words sway what people are willing to pay. Probably not, but I feel better. LOL!

I'm sure not buying these. I need all the help I can get. Sure don't need shoes that allow you to shoot in the 80's and skull shots into the gallery.
