Another Best (or worst) spontaneous ebay purchase

We've done the best and worst purchases from ebay.  But how about those spontaneous (many times adult beverage aided) ebay purchases?

 

My recent behavior has led me to create this thread.  I completely forgot about a bid I had made quite late one evening after several (or more than several) adult beverages.

 

I just got the notification yesterday that I won the auction and and now expected to pay for said item.  I still think it's a cool thing and I'll definitely use it, but it's one I'm going to have to explain the need for to my wife.

 

What did I buy?  A staff bag to throw extra clubs and putters in and place in the man cave.  So here is my entry into best drunken ebay purchase.

I'm very jealous of that bag. It would make a great piece for the man cave with some clubs I'm it.

I live in Georgia. Was browsing eBay a few months ago (maybe less than 2, I Don't remember) and came across some tire chains. Being almost hammered I threw a bid in... And won. And we're expected to have iced over roads tomorrow morning. Raining and 34* right now and expected to dip into the 20's till after 2:00 tomorrow... So I may actually get to use them

I just bought a Ping O Blade

That is very close to the Hogan tour bag I used to carry as a teenager, for some reason I was obsessed with having it and saved up ages to get it.

 

Carried it for about 5 years before I realised that a lightweight bag might make more sense! Mind you I only had 11 clubs in the bag most of the time.

 

Even in the early 90's I was obsessed with Hogan clubs.....sad there won't be any of the new irons in the UK for me to try out. Ah well, saved me a fortune I suppose.
