If that's the outcome of getting a task force together then so be it, seems a bit strange though.

Is neutral a choice? I mean.... His 14.5 - 13.5 is a lot better loss than 16.5 - 11.5 this past Ryder cup.

 

I would have rather liked to have seen Azinger being that he has a winning history and strategy.

I agree, I figured with the whole task force we would have seem a whole staff of captains or something.

Could be kind of awkward after a few high profile players bad-mouthed his captaincy last time around.

On the plus side, it could be a chance to make amends.

Seems like nobody wants the job these days (Zinger included) so IMHO it seems like Europe are already 1up when the US make a bit of a hash of a selection process where potential captains should be climbing over each other for the job. 

Maybe if you play like a team it might actually reap some rewards. Just saying...
