Don't ask why I played golf yesterday in 40 degree weather and I'm a couch potato today when it's 70. Alright I took Penny to Rays fan fest and I'm exhausted plus broke from buying 3 6 game ticket packs.

 

At any rate watching and the sadistic part of me is wishing that Tiger were playing just to see him chipping and pitching with the kikuyu. :)

 

This back nine is looking like a US Open.

I haven't had time to actually watch any of the tournament, but juding from the Fantasy Golf results, it's playing very tough!  Even par is 26th place after 3 days, -1 in the top 20??

Still love this course, but its a little firm this year. Wouldn't mind a little more scoring action.

We'll see if they can show the eventual playoff or cut to "60 Minutes" again this week. :blink:

The back up at 10 is too much. They have 9 players on the hole. Talk about pressure have to wait to hit that tee shot after watching two groups chop it up ahead of you.

Wonder if this has any play as to why its the 2nd hardest hole on the course today.

It was taking so long. Figured once 6PM came around they were gonna cut away regardless. I stopped watching after the tee shots on the 1st playoff hole. I saw Hahn won. I'm glad. He has a good personality, and I like his back story.

 

DJ got pretty hosed on that putt on 18 in reg. Man did that snap at the hole. His game looks on, but I always have that doubt that he can close it out.

 

So how much of the playoff did they end up showing? I watched on and off as I cleaned the house.

The whole thing was on CBS.

 

Dustin's miss on 18 was the classic on Southern grasses, probably got on a bit of grain that was hard to see - you see lots of that at the Valspar.  It's must see TV for your Bermuda lovers out there because Copperhead still has old school Bermuda greens.  It might be the last hold out.

Might have been just enough rain to cause a nice big heel print on that putt of DJ's.

That's always been interesting to me in golf that the leaders tee off last and get the "worst" of the conditions usually.

Not exactly "pole position."

I would have watched it to the end, but I cleaned the house and my allergies wanted a shower. Doah!
