New paint on Krank Element (Formula 5)

Recommended Posts

A number of years ago I repainted my 3-wood to match my favorite college basketball team color, Carolina Blue and it came out alright but I wanted to take it a little further with my driver.  As you will see in the pictures a few things happened with this project:  1) I got in a hurry and work got sloppy  2) I got carried away with the design.  I was really just seeing what I could do with a roll of tape and can of spray paint because at the end of the day I can (and will soon) strip the paint again and go in a totally different direction.  I really like the flat black, no gloss look everywhere from drool worthy Lamborghini's to my mountain bike so that's what I decided to try.  I think next I'm going to re-shaft with a Graffaloy Blue shaft that is ironically White in color and paint the head with a high gloss blue.  Here's what I have for now.

I like it, makes me think of one of your memorable muscle cars something like smokey and the bandit. Also looks like it's easy to line up consistently too. Good job
