I have been getting back into shape and working hard on my game and then last night I ruptured my Achilles. So now I am out for 8-12 weeks!!! Once I can start walking in a boot I am gonna start working on the short game.

Been dealing with a very weak left ankle since I sprained it last August.....(yeah on the golf course)

 

Finally, had xrays today so maybe I'll find out something next week.

Always a bummer to get injured, but especially when it's almost time for the courses to open.

 

I got lucky with a dislocated shoulder last summer and didn't need surgery, but still missed almost 8 weeks.

 

Get well soon and stick with that plan to focus on your short game, you may still lower your handicap this season!

That's a real bummer to put it lightly. I feel for ya KC. I live to play golf. I work full time and usually only get out to actually play once on the weekends. When I get stopped by weather I'm bummed. But that's only occasionally. Your situation however is much more serious than giving up a Saturday game. (which is nothing)  Hope you make a fast and complete recovery.

Get well quickly KC!  I friend of mine cracked his ribs a couple of years ago, and did nothing for a couple of months but chip and putt.  Man did his short game improve!!  It shows that we need to spend more time on that.

Haha yeah it's that bad I literally took 5 minutes to adjust my garage stool to the exact right height so that it wouldn't throw anything off.
