hckymeyer
Saw this new Wilson bag on Instagram and Twitter this morning. I currently use a Bagboy with the clip lock system and love it. Not a lot of options on bags with club locking systems so it's cool to see another entry. ACcustomX
Came across my Facebook feed this morning. It is a great looking bag. Kenny B
I would need to check how the putter fits in the bag. It seems like the putter well is too deep on most bags for a short putter (31in). The putter head rests on the bag and has worn the finish off head. I need a new bag! The Wilson bags are looking very nice these days. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
PlaidJacket
That Wilson Nexus cart bag is an interesting design but I know I'd never bother to "clip" a club in place. Kind of falls into the category of head covers for irons. No offence Hack. Now.. if I may; Master Grip has a excellent cart bag for $79.00!! I S#*t you not. I haven't actually seen it in person but the pictures are a spitting image of my Titleist cart bag which I paid $200+ for. You ought to at least go take a look. markb
Whoever makes these bags for Wilson is doing a great job. I have seen the clip lock system and it works well. It's not really for use with EVERY shot, but it's really handy when your clubs are traveling in the car, or the clubs that you DON'T hit much (3, 4, 5 irons etc). Lock 'em in, unlock your wedges when you need them, leave them unlocked until the last shot. So in this sense it's very useful, especially when strapped to the back of a golfcart where my long irons tend to bounce and swivel and hit the steel roof support. Another bag with an innovative club holding system is this bag by Ogio. The soft, flexible rubber top gives way easily to insertion and extraction and it will wear out, but the whole top lid can also be replaced. bag - SunMountain Synch with Ogio Synergy X4 cartdriver - Optiforce 440, Paderson Kevlar Green stiff 46.5"fwoods - Jetspeed, 3HL regularirons - Speedblades 3-8, 85g stiff steel, 2 upwedges - Scor 40, 45, 50, 54, 58putter - Ketsch 35" slight arc, SuperStroke 2.0 mid-slimball - ProV1x

With my current Bagboy I clip them in after every shot. It takes no more time than putting the club in the bag regularly. I hate iron covers, but this type of system has worked great the past 3 seasons. Whoever makes these bags for Wilson is doing a great job. I have seen the clip lock system and it works well. I live on a course. 5 houses down from me lives my wife's sister and hubby. Another 5 houses down from them lives my wife's mom and 4 more siblings. We drive our golf carts all over the neighborhood all the time so it's really nice to have that clip in feature on a bag. I might have to find a store that carries it and see how the clips work in person and compare them to the Bagboy. "...when strapped to the back of a golfcart where my long irons tend to bounce and swivel and hit the steel roof support." ?? Now my practice course is one of the roughest courses that I have ever played on (used to be a goat pasture), and the newest golfcart is probably 15 years old (which is why I usually walk), but I have never had any clubs hit the roof support! "... it will wear out, but the whole top lid can also be replaced." Right up until it can't. BIG STU
I liked the feature where you could change the bag color and see what it looks like. But 14 way divider bags are not for me. Actually a 3 way divider is ok for me I hate the 6 way dividers even. 3 of my bags I took the center divider out to make it 3 way. mbrodeur86
I really like that clip option. I buy everything I use pre-owned and have seen some clubs come by that had a lot of chips and bag chatter and this seems like a really good option. I really like what Wilson is doing here ( yes I know there are other options and other companies have them too) But really Wilson has really made me do a 180 on my perspective of them.
