I saw this the other day, it really is just some joking around. Lydia Ko (LPGA World Number 1) and Izzy Dagg (NZ All Black rugby fullback) messing around playing a quick game to highlight their support of the NZ cricket team in the world cup currently taking place in New Zealand and Australia.

 

 

 

 

For the record, New Zealand (ranked #5) just beat Australia (ranked #1) the other day!!! major accomplishment. Some highlights for you.

I come hoping not to see cricket mentioned......drat. Not a good Time to be an English cricket fan...... Frankly I'm expecting us to lose to anyone who turns up with a bat and ball.

 

For our friends around the world who don't know the game:

 

T20 match - a few hours

One day match - 7 or so hours

Test Match - 5 days long and can be a draw

 

The current World Cup, every 4 years, is one day matches.

I'm feeling for Ya Westy (though I did have a chuckle). It's shaping up to be a fantastic sharp end to the tournament.

 

As zerostate mentioned, India are probably favorites to win, but NZ would have to be a lot of neutral spectators 'favorite winner'.

 

I'm really hoping NZ can get this done!

I was stationed in Bermuda during the early 70's.........so i attended several cricket matches........a little boring but, just like a 1 hit baseball game...can be excilarating as well.

I get that Foz - I feel the same way about basketball ... I realize this will probably ruffle a few feathers, but I cannot stand it. I have never been able to sit through a whole game. Now I enjoy shooting hoops as much as the next person, maybe a little 3-on-3 half court game, but I can't watch it - never will.

 

As far as I'm concerned 'March Madness' is exactly that... ;)
