All black Taylormade Ghost Tour Putter

Spied this while looking around on Tmag's website. Loving the looks of the all black. Hope the finish holds up better than the white did.

I wonder how it frames up the ball at address? The only black putter I ever putted with was an old T.P. Mills (Spalding) #9 in fact I still have it but the paint is worn off and it does have a nice patina to it

I love the look of black putters. I really want to try and find another of my gamer and get it blacked out

I have the white version. It was the first putter I bought for myself a few years ago. The finish was atrocious and chipped off within the first few rounds even though I baby'ed it. I'll never buy another TM putter.

I had a similar TM putter all black. Finish held for about 1 season. Then I used sandpaper to remove the black paint. Now it has a raw brushed kind of finish and I like it even more.

I don't think any finish will hold up; black, white or otherwise. I have a Rife Aussie that has the black finish. It started to show signs of wear after one season.

Well I haven't had my never compromise putter that long to justify what the paint will look like but I just always try to put the cover back on when I'm not using it and try to take good care of it as best as I can. I'm not a fan of insert putters.

 

I can attest to the white TM putters though. At the sportcheck in fredericton (about the only place within 3 hours from me where they have some golf equipment on hand) they had a few white Tmag putters and they were all chipped up and paint fading on them.
