Already Introduced

Hello again all,

 

Although I have already introduced myself in a previous thread, I wanted to express how great I feel this forum really is.

 

I was a user of WRX but I couldn't stand the bully type people around there. It's terrible. Someone would have an opinion and it would be shot down a thousand different ways. Someone would post something they just bought, and they would have 100 people down their throat and all over it saying what a terrible waste of money it was. Not to mention, its a free country and you can do what ever you want, but at WRX Im going to tell you you shouldn't do it or you're doing it absolutely wrong.

 

My short time here at golf spy has been a very positive experience, and I have all of you to thank for it. I look forward to seeing you out there.

Glad to have you over here. These are civilized open minded objective folks over here. I know how it is in some forums on WRX. Over there I tend to stay in the Classic Golf and Golfers section those folks are like minded with me. Over here at MGS we have some varying opinions but no argument or flaming. Even though I am old school and I tend to think and play that way I do not get any flack here. But I am open minded. The staff on here participates actively and does not seem distant and cold

Glad you're happy Turftaker. I stumbled onto MGS a couple of years ago. Like most people, I sat back and read the blog and followed the discussions in the forum for awhile. I had done the same at wrx but it didn't take long to know that wasn't for me. So I joined MGS. I started picturing the usual characters here on MGS as I followed the discussion. Believe me, there are quite a few characters here!! I am sure that many of them will say the same about me. But that's what makes this site fun. Interesting discussions; differing opinions, but we all have a good time with it, and in the process I have learned more about golf. And that's why we are here.
