SLDR, car door - crunched shaft.

So my old X Hot pro with the shorter shaft was in the bag yesterday - thing is I reckon the flight is better, distance seemed good and it's sounds better.....

Could this mean SLDR is consigned to the garage?

Also head feels deeper, reminding me more of my favourite ever driver, the R510TP.

Anyone else ditched the SLDR and gone back to older driver?

Actually, yes.

Was given a SLDR by my brother who won it in a company raffle.

Played it for about 2 months. Didn't care for the sound either. Stock shaft that came on it didn't feel like a stiff, even though it was stamped as such. Found that the sliding weight didn't have near the effect on my ball flight as I expected it to.

Returned to the Covert 2.0.

I went the other way. Tried to kick the SLDR out of my bag over my first three rounds this year and some testing at various golf shops. I even bought a Titleist 915D3. Then played another 9 holes with my SLDR and went home and sold the 915.

SLDR is in the bag to stay for another year.

It doesn't really matter what I use, all drivers are short!

The SLDR is in my bag right now, but there are times when I swap out drivers just to change things up. It seems like every day my swing is different, and sometimes using a heavier, lower lofter club just feels good... for awhile. Then I change back. The SLDR is probably the most consistent driver I use.

I played the SLDR 430 for 3-4 months when it came out into the summer. Back to my SFTP 2.0 LCG. That's not an indictment of the SLDR though, I've went back to it 42 times now and my 43rd attempt is half here (waiting on a shaft).

I did everything I could to like the SLDR. All the loft options with just as many shaft options. Had the same problem with the weight. 1 yard in either direction on average. Never had the carry no matter how much I lofted up or played around with shaft options. Gone baby gone and back to the R1. That is, until my Tour Edge gets here

I had the R1 black and sold it for my TourEdge. I actually went back and tried the SLDR white again and didn't like the feel of it compared to the TourEdge.
