apprenti23
Hahahah I actually interviewed with GolfTec awhile back (they're always hiring, shocker). Didn't really like anything about the people interviewing me or the company, just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Afterwards I thanked them for their time. Next day they wanted to schedule another and I declined and said it wasn't for me. I received two more emails and a phone call over the next week and my response was the same. Golf Instruction or practice should never be that expensive.

Kenny B
For $3K you can fly anywhere in the country, rent a car, stay at a golf resort, all meals, and attend a golf school 8am-4pm for 5 days. It's called a golf school vacation, and I highly recommend it. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
Fireinthehole
Had a swing evaluation done. I had a friend who was going and gave it to me as a gift. Video technology was good. But the simulator/ launch monito said I hit a 7 iron 190-200, Thought that was weird. I was swinging past parallel, but farthest I ever hit out in the real world was 180+. Did not like that the guy wanted to change my grip- strong, overlap; needless to say i struggled for the whole summer, not happy at all about that. But did give some good advice about going 45 past parrallel. The lesson structure is not my preferred type either. But i did like the video analysis, but I feel you can get that cheaper other places as well. I went to another free lesson swing/ evaluation and in one hour, he did a better job of getting me back on plane and to stop coming OTT. My new instructor took more input to decide on lessons, i was impressed. My Mixed-Bag: Driver: Mavrik Sub zero, ventus black 7x Fairway: Still looking! I think one of the biggest factors in taking any lessons but especially at golftec because of the commitment involved is finding a coach that you gel with well. If not you're going to probably end up worse than when you started.
