And immediately thought of the RBZ. At first glance they look a lot alike.

Looks cool.  Hopefully they dont use the orange color scheme that the old JPX EZ line used.

Yeah wasn't that the most awful colour scheme you've ever seen, makes you wonder what possessed them.  Then again the green that Taylor Made used on the RBZ range wasn't too flash either.

I tried hitting the JPX 850 driver and couldn't hit it to save my life.  I hit the 825 the previous model better but neither even came close to my G25.  Looks like I'm stuck with that for some time yet!

I had the same problem with the 800, 825 and JPX-EZ.  Ive been a big Mizuno fan in the past and really wanted to like them but I like my Jetspeed better.  Considering that most people consider the Jetspeed to be a failure for TMAG, thats pretty bad for Mizuno.

I had a hit of the JPX EZ The other day on the range and I really quite liked it.  It was the 10.5 degree model and it surprised me how versatile it was in terms of being able to hit it high, low or in between.  Wasn't the longest driver I've hit on the range but I liked it so much I'm going to take it out on the course tomorrow and see how it goes out there.  It's a used one so if it really performs I might just buy it if the price is right.  The only thing I'm a bit suss about is the shaft.  From memory its a 59 gram lite regular flex.  I didn't hook it on the range so it might still be ok.  My G25 is being very naughty at the moment so maybe the threat of being replaced will adjust its behaviour.  I bombed a 280 metre/306 yard drive with it today though so I think it has gotten wind of my plans.

The JPX EZ is that bloody horrible orange colour though so that is a black mark against :)

I hear you on the color.  It was atrocious and Im glad that Mizuno went back to blue with the 850.

Kenny, Kenny, Kenny I think you and Rickie Fowler and the college he went to are the only people that like that colour orange, mind you Cobra almost got it right with their version of orange.

Personally I'm with Badger on this one.  Mizuno got it right with their blue!  Everyone that sees my 3 wood and hybrids wants to have them! :)

Rickie and I both went to OSU with orange colors, but he went to Oklahoma State; I went to Oregon State... but we are about 40 years apart! However, I don't think I could play an orange driver. I prefer plain old unassuming black, but since my school colors are orange and black, I can accessorize in orange... just not "custom fit"! :)

The JPX EZ would also be a great driver if you had a Harley-Davidson bag.  I just wasnt a big fan of the JPX EZ overall.  I dont know what it was about it but I felt like the JPX-800 was better.  I felt like it had a hotter face and didnt launch the ball as high, so for me personally, it seemed to work better.

Accessories are good.....back to the post, I like the orange that Mizuno is using.  I also like the Blue.....but the EZ Driver looks too plain.....no pop.

Nice!  Wrong color of orange though.  Last year, I actually thought about orange for my 2014 Dodge Charger R/T but my wife nixed that, so I ended up with the metallic granite color that is the same color as unmarked state police cars.  I wonder why people slow down when I come up behind them?  :)

Nice car there Jax but over here in Australia we call that colour bronze not orange.  And Bronze is a very manly version of a gentle brown  I still haven't taken the EZ out for a hit so I must do that on Sunday and see how it goes out on the course.  Now come on Foz you don't really like that orange, ummmn nice shirt too apprenti well the logo any way.

I should clarify that I was a red head when  I was younger and orange just wasn't my colour nor does it match my skin tones clothes wise hence my aversion.

Finally took the EZ out for a hit today and it wasn't to bad at all.  I found it to be a very accurate driver but not as long as my Ping G25.  I had it set on standard trajectory - it has various settings of high low and standard.  I averaged about 240 yards with it so it was a good 10 -15 yards shorter than my current gamer.  Certainly enjoyed the change and the different feeling.  It was very forgiving on a couple that I didn't quite get in the middle and didn't give up too much distance.  Depending on how high I teed it I could hit it high or low.  All in all fun to hit and worth giving it a try if you are looking for a forgiving driver that's relatively easy to hit and adjustable to boot :)
