am i good enough to play from the blue tee?

At our home course here, blue plays around 6230. White is generally a "seniors" tee box and red is for the ladies. I think pretty much everyone here has offered some great advice. 1 play where you are comfortable and 2 get a handicap. I use an app called golf frontier on my phone and it tells me my handicap is 6.9 but my official usga handicap says 7.1

Confession: played the tips at Bethpage Red. The second nine I had 3-4 holes where I had driver wood in my hand on par 4's. I kept pace of play but man, the scorecard was brutal.
