ZenGolfer
Interesting. The wedges kind of the old TMAG Rac wedges. xxio
The accordion look was there already during the 850 line. IMHO the wedges look more like wider sole Callaway Jaws. The 850 driver, fw, hybrid were very underrated. In 1year I will buy an entire set of 850s driver to irons. Just waiting for prices to go down and I just bought XR Pros. Of course they are, theyre Mizunos. For some reason, people are not able to wrap their heads around the idea that Mizuno is anything but an iron company. It doesnt help though that even Mizuno's sponsored tour pros dont play their woods or hybrids. When even someone like Luke Donald, who has been a Mizuno homer since his days in college has them practically designing woods/hybrids specifically for him, you cant exactly expect the rest of us to be all that excited about them. ZenGolfer
Glad I bought the MP-T5, these are not pretty Amen. Those make the JPX wedges look pretty by comparison. I honestly havent been a big fan of the look of Mizuno wedges since the T5s came out. They need to go back to wedges that has simple, clean, classic lines. I keep trying miz drivers/fws/hybrids. Sorry but they seem not to produce. The MPs (600&650) were hard to hit. I loved the MP600 JV. The 660 was just too low spin. The EZ line was too closed and too high spin. The smaller 850 is actually more forgiving than the 600/650. Yes 9/10 Miz irons deliver unfortunately 7/10 their drivers/fw/hybrids do not because they are on the extreme ends of the spectrum.

I used to be a HUGE Mizuno fan but my love for them has kind of waned lately. Ive owned every wood/hybrid theyve made since the F50 and while they were all good clubs, I never felt like any of them were great. After buying a JPX-EZ 5-wood and struggling with it, I decided to try some TMAG and, as they say, the rest is history. xxio
I meant 650. The JV shafts made them a lot more playable.
