Spikeless! Before they came on the scene I prefered playing in sneakers to wearing spiked golf shoes.

I've got some nice soft-spiked golf shoes, but seldome wear them anymore.

 

Unless it's really damp and slick, I usually just wear sneakers with good tread.

Much prefer spikeless these days.  Last few pairs of spiked shoes had the Quick lock system, the locks would wear out and I couldn't keep spikes in - would lose a couple every round.  Grip seems acceptable with spikeless for me...

I also love my True Linkswear because the are light, comfortable and work well for me. Before I got my first pair several years ago, I wore ankle high climbing boots with the most aggressive tread I could find in the winter; waterproof, relatively light, and gripped pretty well. When summer came, I had to find something cooler, and along came True!

 

I do have a pair of Adidas Tour 360 that I like and usually wear when I travel to nice courses, but that's mainly because I ride and don't have to walk that much. They are comfortable, just heavier.

 

I just bought a pair of the True Game Changer Pros with spikes but haven't had them on the course yet.

Went from spiked to spike-less and never looked back. Using Oakley Cipher 2 shoes and they are very comfortable and light and the nano spikes are holding up very well.

Since summer came early I've been switching between spiked and spikeless. Played 14 holes in the rain yesterday wearing the spikeless with no issues.

Last spiked shoe I wore was a pair of Nike Air Zoom Advanced. Then I bought two pairs of Trues and haven't looked back. My feet enjoy the comfort of the Sensei models especially.

I play in flip flops most of the summer which I guess would technically be a vote for spikeless.

 

I have both types of shoes though and tend to wear spikes more often when I actually wear golf shoes.

I did this a ton the summer before I went to college and I'm not sure why it worked out so well but I loved it. Have to have spikes these days though

I have and wear both. Eccos in spikless (have had Adidas and a few others, Ecco spike less are the most comfortable). And have several brands in spiked.

Depends on the weather, course, and who/what I'm playing in. If it's a casual mid day/afternoon round and going to be nice or has been nice for awhile I'll wear spikeless. If the courses have been wet, I'm playing early (dew), or an event I'll be wearing spikes.

 

I do feel that some spikeless offerings will give you just as many points of contact as spiked shoes, but I feel that most spiked shoes have much better waterproofing and that can be very important to me, especially if playing early.

I tried so hard to like the trues, but could never get used to feeling shorter or walking uphill. I guess if you could wear them all the time it around the office, to the gym, running errands, etc. it'd be a lot easier. But like I said, they always felt awkward when I put them on.

Yeah, I wear them every day.  I have a wide foot, so they are extremely comfortable.
