Taylormade's 2016 prototypes are out at the memorial this week. Greg has posted pics on WRX but was hoping our spies might have a man with an inside track. I do know the new CB protos have places in the cavity where a polymer is able to be injected in the head. Sound similar to another design the spies viewed a few days ago with polymer in the head? Yeah that was my first thought

Looks wise they resembled the MP15 or 59 line. But your comment on the polymer means you are comparing them to the PXG offering. I definitely liked the looks of them

You're probably thinking about the xD300 (new firesole). They had 2 new irons out there

I think I'm talking about the same ones. The one with the two ports on the back of the cavity for polymer?

MP 59 was my first thought as well. These guys are constantly hiring and firing each others researchers I wouldn't be surprised if all have been working on something similar.

Injecting polymer into the head is nothing new.  Various companies have been doing it for nearly a decade.

As for them looking like MP-59s, there are those who say that Mizuno copied Bridgestone, so who cares?  Everyone copies everyone else.

Nobody was hating or saying that it was bad they looked like mp59s. That was my first imrpession of them. Obviously I'm not the only one. Don't read too much into it...
