Rose won his first TOUR event at Muirfield Village in 2010 and Haas has played well here lately. Tee times: Rd. 1 – 8:26 a.m. off 10th tee; Rd. 2 – 1:16 p.m. off 1st tee

Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Steve Stricker â€“ Stricker and Kuchar are previous winners of the Memorial. Johnson is having a stellar run, although he'll need to rebound from a disappointing Sunday at the AT&T Byron Nelson when he was tied for the lead until a quadruple bogey. Tee times: Rd. 1 – 1:05 p.m. off 1st tee; Rd. 2 – 8:15 a.m. off 10th tee

Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, Hideki Matsuyama â€“ Fowler is making his first PGA TOUR start since his thrilling win at THE PLAYERS Championship (he did play in last week's Irish Open, finishing T30). Matsuyama is the defending champ. In 12 starts (not including two WDs) at Memorial, Mickelson's best finish is a T44 in 2006. If nothing else, he and good buddy Fowler should enjoy playing together the first two rounds. Tee times: Rd. 1 – 1:16 p.m. off 1st tee; Rd. 2 – 8:26 a.m. off 10th tee

I consider myself neither fan nor hater when it comes to Tiger, but that just hurt to watch.

 

I live in Vietnam, so was watching the live streaming service where they follow one pair the whole way round. Caught virtually every stroke of his day. Ouch.

 

It had that uncomfortable feeling I sometimes get while watching a bad stand up comic pause for laughter that isn't coming. Just awkward, uncomfortable, part sympathy part morbid curiosity.

That golf course looks fannnnntastic! I don't really watch much golf, but was nursing a hangover and wanted to catch an afternoon nap. Unfortunately I turned it with Rose having about 6 to play. Sure was exciting stuff. I watched the rest of his round and then the playoff. Great stuff. That Swedish kid had amazing composure. During his interview he even said "I'm so excited" and I said to myself "Really? He looks like his dog died." haha

 

I was bummed Rose didn't win because he is just aces, but I'm glad this kid got the win. Big fan of the underdog.
