revkev Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 I'm actually outside of Chicago dispatching my role as chaplain for the Deaconesses of our Church body - I have to preach, lead services and hear confession for 100 or so women over the course of the next 5 days and then am meeting up with my wife and Penny in Milwaukee before we head back. I won't be on as much as usual but the fact that I have WiFi at all at a retreat center tells you that times have changed. I must say that it's beautiful here - everyone is complaining that its hot - I think it's cool and the weather has been lovely so far, nice and quiet at the center, just what I needed. I had a great time with the women of my Church Body as well as a couple of Deaconesses from Central America and Africa. I don't know why they want me to be their Spiritual Advisor but I love the gig. The last two years I was able to bring my clubs and play but couldn't this year. I will be back in full force the end of the week. Miss you guys - haven't missed TV at all but miss you guys.
