IMPERIAL HEADWEAR'S GOLF HATS WITH COOLCORE TECHNOLOGY

Moisture Activated Cooling Technology is up to 30% Lower Surface Temp

BOURBON, MO - This summer, Imperial Headwear will provide its new and exciting Coolcore®  Technology headwear to amateur golfers at over eight tournaments featuring some of America's highest-ranked amateurs and top college athletes.

Participants at the Sunnehanna Amateur, Northeast Amateur, Sahalee Players Championship, Dogwood Invitational, North & South Amateur, Rice Planters Amateur, Trans Miss Amateur and Greystone Invitational will all receive Imperial Powered by Coolcore® hats that feature the next generation of performance fabrics, which provide a cooling solution extending beyond traditional moisture-management fabrics or cooling technologies that typically rely on chemicals.

Coolcore® fabrics deliver three distinct functions, including moisture wicking, moisture transportation to accelerate drying and regulated evaporation for a cooling effect.  The result is up to 30% lower surface temperatures, drier garments that don't cling or saturate, healthier chemical-free usage and zero degradation of the cooling effect over time or washing.  Coolcore® is 100% free of chemicals, polymers, gels, crystals or phase changing materials, ensuring all Coolcore® benefits never wash out or degrade.

"Imperial is all about supporting the game at its highest level of competition," says David Shaffer, Director of Marketing at Imperial Headwear. "Being involved with these top amateur events and getting our hats on the best amateur players in the country is such a great way to showcase our brand."

And likewise, the tournaments' officials are thrilled to have their players supplied with such groundbreaking equipment. "Imperial is a strong partner and this new cooling technology is amazing," said Ben Tuthill, Tournament Chairman of the Northeast Amateur Invitational. "I can't wait for our players to experience it themselves." John Yerger, Tournament Chairman of the Sunnehanna Amateur, is also appreciative and says that "we are excited to have Imperial's support again this year. Our players are going to love receiving an Imperial Powered by Coolcore® hat."r beyond traditional moisture-management textiles by reducing surface fabric temperature up to 30 percent.  Coolcore fabric formulations have earned the prestigious "Innovative Technology" recognition from the Hohenstein Institute, a first for a U.S. company, and the only company globally to be awarded this recognition for "Cooling Power".
