I felt the same way Plaid, right now I have a doz Wilson Staff Duo Spins, a doz Maxfli Softfli, a doz Kick X Tours, 2 doz Maxfli U4's, 3 doz MG 380's (2 piece), a doz Pro V 1's, along with several sleeves of e6's and others.

 

I have been experimenting with the 2 piece soft balls and have found that they are working for my game.

That is because Callaway decided not to market the ball which was between the Chrome Soft and the Supersoft so Master Grip bought all of the balls.

It's likely in the default security settings.  Microsoft is "helping you."

 

I had some issues with my newest computer using Chrome and not just on this site.

 

I suspect most browsers are defaulted to tighter security settings than they used to be, particularly for anything that can be scripted to copy and paste.

I like the chrome soft, I've played the super soft before, but I didn't feel like I could get anything out of the ball, for me it played short off he tee, and I didn't like the way they played around the green.

The Chrome Speed balls are 105 Compression.

Nevermind, I found the email.  Ordered 10 dozen.  If you want some, though, I'd buy them quick because the deal was posted at WRX and those ball deals go viral quick there, and get gone.

Well I said I wasn't going to buy any of the Callaway Chrome Speed balls from MG but I did. I went on their site to grab a few more gloves and said... "why not"?  I'm disappointed. For the past couple of months I've really been in love with the Chrome Soft. I might even say they are my current favorite.  Yesterday I had the opportunity to play the Chrome Speed and found that it felt hard. I played good but all day I wasn't getting the feed back/feel I enjoy with the Chrome Soft. Let me mention one thing. My swing speed with my driver is around 88-90. That might be why they feel hard to me. For you younger guys with 100+ mph swing speeds you might like the ball.

 

This morning as I was getting organized prior to the first tee I was looking in my bag for a Chrome Soft. Didn't have any on me. Hmm? But... I did have my old Fav the MG Tour C4. So I tee'd it up and played one all day. Ahhhhh. Now that's how a quality Tour Ball should feel and play. Great performance and feed back. I'm saying to myself now; that it's out with the Chrome Speed and all in with the MG Tour C4 and Chrome Soft. Both are great balls.

I love the Chrome Speed. It's right up there with the Penta and Lethal for me (my 2 all time favorite golf balls).

I too have tried/played the Snell ball. I found them to be a top quality Tour ball. The reason I don't play them more is because of the mail order only distribution method. "But Plaid, you order online and play the MG Tour C4." That's true. I started many years ago buying the MG gloves online and when they started offering the Tour C4 ball I'd order some of those along with my glove order. Love the Tour C4. Great ball. $19.99 dz. And... they're much less expensive (+- 20%) than the Snell even with shipping and tax. The Snell is $31.99 including shipping and no tax. That's a good deal. However, Snell doesn't have any other products like MG does with their gloves. Which I might add are top quality too. If the Snell were on the shelf next to the Callaway Chrome Soft I'd buy one of each. Today with the Snell, MG Tour C4, and Chrome Soft available I'd never spend $45-$48 for a golf ball. (Dean, if you're reading this I love the ball but I'd prefer a more non-descript logo. Something a little more understated?)

 

Mizuno... I've never really been a Callaway ball player either. If it weren't for the Chrome Soft I still wouldn't be.
