Tim - do you mean the titles of the the topics and not the text in the body of the thread...correct?? If so I agree with you.

Yes when you start the topic. You have the Title of the Thread then the secondary text. That gets lost in the brown because it come's up either lighter or not as bold text.

There is nothing better than having live chats with industry leaders.

What do you think of a "Staff Bio" section? Give everyone a little info about all of you that make this place run so well!

I like that Chat Idea. Its much quicker to get to the point if you can instantly chat with someone. Also maybe having smaller Avatars and signatures that don't take up so much space, cause as stated earlier its a pain to scroll for a mile to get to what you want.

Another suggestion, and I don't know if this is possible. If you decide to comment on a certain thread, have that particular area within your profile where all the threads you make comments on go into, say an inbox. Like a favorites if you will. You could call it "My Threads"

re: Interactive Data

How about adding the handicap index for each tester to their names in the Interactive Data? ie:

Dan(4)
GolfspyT (12)
Jon (9)

Looks like you'd only need to revise their "names" once in your software, and anytime their names are shown, their index would also be included.

I actually really love the site. But my only suggestion is ,On the bottom of the main page there is a list of "Recent Rumors".I would like to be able to click on it and get the story(link?).For example I am still trying to find out about Solus golf being sold? Maybe its not possible because it is just a rumor. Not a big deal ,its the only thing I could suggest.Love the site keep up the great work. Dave

MGS, I've went back to the start of this post and re-read a few responses. One stuck out, about the headcovers. I know AM&E dont accept new accounts and you have to order through JMark( which is a pain). I also noticed Belding was referenced. I have the cover and have tried it out a bunch and still can't get in love with the magnetic closure because of the heel falling out issue. Don't know who made it, but the closure is just a pain with some putters, especially ones with a longer heel to toe measurement. I still use it depending on how I coordinate the colors in the bag that day.

I've recently found a new headcover manufacturer/custom order place and know several folks that have ordered from her. I also think JBones on here is related to her. Her name is Delila Harvey and her covers are top notch. I've seen and messed around with a few and am waiting on mine to be delivered. She does all of her embroidery and can digitize anything for embroidery (you'll see when I post mine once it gets here, it's intricate and if her renderings are close, it's going to be exactly what I've been wanting). Her site is girlygolfer.com She does both Velcro and magnetic closures too, which is a plus as different folks prefer different closures.

As for other things the site needs, I don't know, really. It's pretty damned all inclusive right now and keeps getting better. Now if I could just get selected for a test panel, LOL.

Rookie - I will be the first one to admit that my design has a flaw. The magnetic closure was not supposed to be one small magnet...but that is what got delivered. I do agree with you though that it is a pain in the ass.

I might give GirlyGolfer a try on the next ones.

You guys ready for the next version???

I think it would be cool to have a "What's in My Bag" field in each user's profile. That would eliminate the need for the "What's in your Bag" section. If we want to see what someone is gaming, we can just visit their profile and we can just post a comment when we make a club change.

Tyk - if you go to your profile in the top-right corner and click on >"My Settings" and then select the tab >"Forum" you can put "What's in My Bag" in your signature.

However I have been tossing around a cooler idea for the future. But for now that is the best way to do what you were looking for.

Ya, I'm not a big fan of signatures in general and certainly don't want everyone to have to see that every time I post!

I'd like for us to be able to close our own classified ads. I've gotten several pm's lately about items I'd posted months ago that are long gone.

barbajo  You'd think a fantasy team with Webb Simpson, Rory, Hunter, Graeme McDowell & Louis Ousthauizen would do some serious damage at the Player's. Well, they did, but not the kind of damage you want...
