I'd assume a lot of Bud Light and such (gross as hell imo) but I'd still like to know what your beverage of choice is.

 

I like something with some bite during the hot days, so I go with an IPA usually. I've been taking aa pack of Uinta Brewery Hop Nosh IPA as of late. Only need 2 or 3 though as they are an 8% abv beer.

I'm not picky. Whatever is handy. This is Texas though, so it's a lot of Shiner Bock.

 

I prefer IPAs always though.

I didn't know they had such crafty ales on the course in Utah.  

 

Bud Light gives me a headache.  Any other beer is OK, but prefer whiskey.

You gotta stop by the liquor store on the way. You'll only get the big 3 if you buy at the courses.

I usually drink bud light because its readily available at my home courses. The only good beer they have is Fat Tire.

 

Honestly I don't care what it is(on the golf course that is) as long as its cold. The rest of the time I prefer a good glass of Bourbon.

Stella Artois for me.  They serve the same bottles on the course you can buy in the store.  So $23 for a case at Costco beats $20 for a 6 pack at the course.  Needless to say I still end up spending enough that I don't feel bad for BYOB.

Well, that is illegal in this state.  

 

A friend of mine only drinks Miller Lite, and he snuck a cooler on an unfamiliar course.  He would have gotten away with it, but he brought cans and the course only sells bottles.  I have never seen a course that sold beer in bottles before.  They let him go, but they could have call the sheriff and got a hefty fine.  It's worse if you get caught on a Indian casino course!!

Never thought of drinking liquor while golfing. Maybe during a fall round or something. I've got some Jack Daniels single barrel sitting at home though. Maybe someday.

I try to go with Wisconsin brews whenever possible.  Usually, that means Leinenkugel's, Miller or PBR.  If my only choice is Budweiser, I go without.  When you grow up in Wisconsin, Anheuser-Busch is the enemy and I still cant get past it.

In the last few years, they've stocked Sierra Nevada cans on the bev cart, so ocassionally I do get tempted.

I was always amazed that a friend of mine would play in a tournament in the morning drinking Guinness, smoking a cig, and jogging down the fairway.  He used the cart to carry his clubs and Guinness, but he never rode in it.  I had to drive.

Yuengling for me - But I'm with Rookie, if someone is bringing Scotch I'm all over it -  In fact we had a shot of Macallans at the turn the Sunday before the club close.  My friend bought the round, boy was he surprised at the $75 tab. :)

The beer that a lot of guys here are drinking is Sweet Water. I'm not a huge drinker anymore, but i occasionally will have one, I prefer different than the major brands, I'll try just about any to see if I like it.

I envy you guys slamming down IPAs on a hot day at the course!  Don't get me wrong, I love IPAs, but when it is 90* outside, I prefer light, cold and cheap (or free)! 

 

For me, I prefer a cold Coors Light...maybe because it seems watered down so I feel like I am staying hydrated!

Eh, I'm not taking a more expensive bottle to the course. Cause someone in my group might ask for a sip and well, it's easier to pour from a bottle of black label lol.

I usually do not drink on the course, but after the round sit's usually Yeungling ......a couple of nice cold pints do the trick.

 

In my bag, I do have a flask filled with Wild Turkey's American Honey Sting....sweet and smooth....until you swallow, then it let's you know it's there.  When my game is in the sh&*^y category, i usually reach for the flask.

 

BTW, I have partaken of the Rev's MaCallan........as a Bourbon partaker, this is some of the best scotch I have ever had.......
