Rev, I note that you have both the Wilson Pitching Wedge(45*?) and the SCOR 48*......What is the difference and why carry both?

Good eyes on the putter guys. I've had it for nine years. Found it in the bargain basket at Edwin Watts for around $50. The salesman loved that a pastor was buying their last Vodoo Daddy. I made an eagle putt on the first hole with it and never turned back. It's been in for a putter fitting where the shaft was shortened and weighting changed a bit and I've regripped it four times. It's likely to leave the world whn I do.

The most recent addition is hiding a bit, it's a callway hybrid that I'm not in love with. Everything else has been in for over a year now.

Foz it's a new world, the Wilson PW is a 44, I also have a SCOR 44 and I put that in when its dryer out. No threat of that for a while though. :). I have a nice little member review that I've written on the C100's but have yet to figure out how to get a word document into a thread. Any thoughts on that?

Nice bag there Rev and I I say this in the nicest possible spirit but wow those numbers on your irons must be for the visually challenged :o   It's really a good thing because you'd never pull the wrong iron out by mistake.  For some reason I was expecting a more bladey type of iron set in your bag given your handicap.  When I started to fall out of love with my Mizzies before the re shafting I was looking furtively at a set of Wilson D200's but didn't want to go down the off set road again having bought and sold a set of G30's relatively quickly.  How do find your shot making with the C100's?  I know I found it more of a challenge with the G30's than my Mizunos.

If you still want to stay mizzy and don't want very little offset but need added forgiveness check out the mph5 line. I have one of their long irons and love it.

No insult, remember the old super tramp song, "Take a look at my girlfriend?" That's how I feel about the C100's. They are not especially appealing, but they work the way they are supposed.

Wilson's C line is really for an older player who is looking to recapture some of his lost distance, hence the strong lofts. I'm also able to hit a five iron well again and honestly I think I could hit the 4 iron too if I had it. I would have never tried these on my own volition, my teacher suggested them after I told him what I wanted to accomplish.

To answer Mizzie's question I can in fact work them enough. My normal ball flight with them is high draw to straight. I can hit them higher or flight them down and I can hit a cut with them as well. They also provide some feedback, again enough to know what I've done wrong or right. They have a bit of a sole which is good on the generally wet Florida turf. They come with a nice array of custom options with the only up charge being graphite. My shafts are not the stock option but the matrix studio 6.1.

I really have never bagged the expected but always tried to maximize my game through equipment. I used lead tape and a GI 2 iron already in the 70's. I was the first to bag a five wood, metal wood, three wedges, tight lies, lofted driver as fairway wood, set my bag for my course, four wedges, hybrids, vary my bounces. I don't do what I should, I do what works.

The C100's work for me. I hate everything about them except they way the work. :)

Thanks Rev I certainly understand your sentiment about hating everything about them except the way they perform.  Undershooter thanks for the heads up about the MP H5's too.  I actually have the 3 - 6 iron that make appearances in my bag from time to time but that is happening less and less since I re shafted the MP 54's and have fallen back in love with them.  I'm actually considering buying a 3 iron with the shaft I have in my others.

Don't get me going on the MP-H5's - see the thread on wedge distances for those.
