mizuno_lover
What is a bloke who is afflicted by the release of quality golf clubs supposed to do. Bloody Hogan have released their irons that are enough to give any red blooded golfer a chubby when they look at them. Mizuno then release their MP 25 irons that are almost equally as awe inspiring and Ping then release their new I series and the GMax irons. Three club makers that I have immense respect for and can't help but drool when I look at their gear. The Hogan's are more price restrictive but their quality is beyond reproach and the same can be said about Mizuno and Ping but they are more affordable and throw in the fact that I already have a great set of clubs in my bag. The tax refund is due as well and that creates a dilemma. The G Max are sort of out the game because of the off set factor. I guess I'll just have to work it out <_> My Bag Driver: G25 Stiff shaft3 Wood: JPX 850 16 degree. mizuno_lover
Truth be known I'm leaning towards the I series Pings. The off set in the G Max lessens as the irons get shorter so they maybe still in with a shot. I will have to do a comparison specs wise with them and the G30's. The stupid thing was I got down to my lowest index ever (4.5) with the G30's but knew I wouldn't get any lower because the off set was killing me aim wise. The Mizuno's have fixed that problem but have their own shortcomings in the forgiveness factor and length. Ahhhh the dilemmas of the civilised man <_> My Bag Driver: G25 Stiff shaft3 Wood: JPX 850 16 degree.
