I really like the look of these, but of course would have to hit them and get the feel. Way out of my price range though, but I did love this by them:

Interesting products, I guess. I find the whole idea of it completely bizarre when I think about it. I really don't get the concept of charging more for newly made old stuff. They really aren't selling golf clubs, because no one in thier right mind wants to play golf with this stuff, and if they did, they wouldn't buy it from Sweetwood because it costs too much. So they must think they're selling "art" in the form of wooden golf clubs. But its not art in any collectible sense, because collectible wood golf clubs exist, and they're actually old clubs that were played and are collectible because of thier place in history.

So, I must confess I really don't get what Sweetwood Golf is all about. More power to em, but the whole idea is whacked.

My old set of Maple Mizuno Astrons is still playable and I play them when the mood strikes me. If this idea takes off I suppose I can rebuild my old set of Persimmon Hogans but I'd really need a better reason than whim.

wdgolf  Managed a game of winter golf today. After practicing with the orange whip, my swing went from fade bias to draw bias. Scores were probably half par, half triple. So many fat shots on soggy ground, it wasn't pretty
