I am looking forward to this!  How can you not go with Jordan Spieth?  But... here comes Tiger.  All he has to do is hold it together for 4 rounds.  I am not sure that he can do it, but it would be fun to watch if he were there on Sunday.

We have had quite a few new major winners at the PGA.  It could happen again this year.

Winner:  Spieth,  because I like the kid.

Could be:   Dustin Johnson, if he doesn't fold like a cheap suit

Darkhorse:    Matsuyama, just a feeling.

I've finally given up on Sergio, so now my jinx is off.  Watch out!

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Ha foz, I had matsuyama in my starting line up! Mind you the rest of my starting line up may not be so stellar!

Think I'm looking forward to this more than the U.S. Open and Masters this year - just really like the course.

I'd be dissapointed if Rory or Spieth win, the best story comes from elsewhere. Rickie or Dustin? Lowry doubling up? Rose remembering how to play in the 4th round?

Rest in peace long sticks - I'll remember you

So once again we have DJ tearing it up... Same old story or will he disappear over the weekend again?

I've had DJ in my top pick for group A for the US Open and The Open. Didn't pick him this week because I couldn't take it anymore.

I'd LOVE to see him win this week! Wire to wires at a major are always so tough!

I think this is going to be a fun Tourney!  With the way yahoo splits up the players into A, B & C groups, it will be tough to select the right ones.

Who do you like this weekend Kenny ?

See the second post.

Well, Tiger is off to a rough start; 5 bogeys and 2 Birdies for a 75.  At least he didn't have any really bad holes, so he has that going for him... which is nice.

Contrary to what Mizzy says, I don't drink a lot of booze.  I have never been much of a cider drinker, but my wife loves it.  She has found a pear cider that is a local brew in Portland that she is particularly fond of.  For me, it's either an beer/ale or whiskey depending on the situation.

Not surprised to see DJ jump out to a lead in the first round again. Lets see what he can do for the rest of the weekend.

Very excited for this Rory Speith Pairing should be good. I hope one of them gets hot and they feed off each other.

Tigers round was again dissappointing. I grew up watching Tiger its hard to see him continually struggle.

Lingmerth is -5 through 7 holes and in Second place.  Will see if he holds up.  If he does, starting early tomorrow could put him in the lead after 36.

Oh dear think I'm going to lose a lot of players to the cut for my fantasy team..... At this point I'm not quite sure how hard this could get by Sunday if stays hot and windy.

3rd easiest hole is a 518 yard par 4..... Different game isn't it!

Kenny, the joy of a strong dry cider is it can be drunk almost like wine. Mind you I like beer, wine, gin, whisky.....just nothing that tastes of aniseed.
