1st impression of my Ketsch

Couple of months ago I was having a little putting slump with my Odyssey White Ice 9 340g putter. It's been my baby for several years. I've average 31 putts per round this past 12 months. One day while slumping one of the guys in my group had a Ketsch and was holing everything he looked at. He mentioned a small golf shop that was closing it's doors and he thought they still had one. And they did.... at 1/2 off. I snapped it up. Turns out it was one of the original Ketsch putters that Ping took off the market for some type of groove depth issue. (Still legal though) Soon after I took it out for a try on the practice green but had mixed results I felt. I just couldn't give up the baby yet. Soon enough I regained my good putting form and continued with the WI-9.

Today I decided to take the Ketsch out for a spin with my normal Saturday game. So, how did I putt? 31 putts again today. I enjoyed using it. The greens today were a little slow so I'll have to use it more as the fall approaches and the greens get faster. At times I wasn't comfortable with my alignment but things worked out fine. Perhaps it's just going to take some getting used to. By the way... my White Ice 9 is a 340g head and the Ketsch is 355g. Holding the two putters I don't think I can feel a difference. Even though the Ketsch has a much larger head.
