I got an old golden bear that i'm playing around with, might just torch it, but just thinking of trying to do some blackening a few different shades. Yes I know this is an old thread, but new to me.... I would like to have the "platinum finish" removed off my Pings and add a Gun Blue... that would be pimp, and would probably not hurt the performance either... damnit, interwebz... you cost me money! If you have chrome plated clubs, the chrome will need to be removed by someone with the right equipment - usually a local custom car shop will either have the setup, or a shop that does it for them. Nice Thing about gun blue, Is as it wears/scratches, you can just reapply.
