WTH???  We are in South Korea, so let's keep the South Korean Player in the club house.

 

IMHO the International Team is already making sure they don't win.

Well, if you look closely at the US pairings there is a pattern. You have a bomber and a consistent player in every group.

 

I would have paired them differently but then again, I haven't been with them and watched them. I can understand that, but to keep the "home town" boy out is ridiculous. Granted, Asians aren't going to be drunk and rowdy like Europeans, but they will politely clap.

I'm confused that you posted this last night but this morning on the golf channel they had no idea what the pairings wold be and were still speculating. Maybe I missed something.

While both of the guys in the first group are bombers, JB is a more controlled player. I used the word Bombers but that was me trying to be nice, One controlled swinger and one not so controlled. Although Dustin was bombing it right down the middle.

 

Price said at some point last night that he sat Bae because Schwartzel was sick. How about sitting Schwartzel and Oosthuizen and play Grace and Bae. Both are sick or injured and hard to spell.

 

I scoffed at the Opening speeches when Price said it was so great to bring this to the Asian Continent and it was a great expedition. Then why not play the home boy.

 

Bae had a better season than Oosthuizen and did not drop out of the last event with injury.

 

I guess we will see in 3 hours and 20 minutes.  19 minutes, They have a countdown going like we are about to launch someone into space. Oh yeah, space launches are not televised any more.

Yes, if I were betting on a major I would pick Louis and if this were played in South Africa, or any other country than South Korea, I would play Louis. But Bae would play every round if were Captain in South Korea.

I agree with you Rick especially since this is his last real golf tournament for what 2 years with the mandatory millitary he has right after. He should be hungry to compete and win in front of the home crowd go out right.

I just had my roof replaced and the roofers had to remove my sat dish and remount it after putting new shingles on.  Well, all seemed to be working last night with my regular channels, so about 10:30 I went to watch my recording of the Presidents Cup Day 1.  Wrong! There was nothing there.  I just got no signal error. Well, I also lost my Fox Sports Channel(Hockey Game Tonight!), SEC Network and the rest of my sports channels.  I called Direct TV to request a technician come out and reset the dish.  Long story short, the earlieast they can come out is Monday!  That means no President's Cup, no Tampa Bay Lightning Opening Night Hockey & no SEC games this weekend.  I am really Bummed!

I'm not disagreeing with the Bae part bc I think he should play, just not over Louis. I think of Louis as a big moment kinda guy and I want those guys playing. As is shown by him and Grace getting the only point so far for the Internationals.

The roof had been scheduled for oct 16, but they came early....ugh.

 

Anyway, I was able to unhide the SD channels and record the SD version of the Pres Cup.....and i watched my Lightning beat the Flyers on OT for Opening night....also in Standard Definition....(pretty grainy)
