Good day,

My name is Christopher Gregory.  I'm settled in New Zealand but am currently employed in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  We have a couple of golf courses here.  One green - the other brown.  I am a member of the Awali Golf Club, Bahrain and we play on browns.  It is quite a different experience as compared to playing on greens.  I started playing in 2005 at the age of 50 in New Zealand and my current handicap is 12.

Welcome Chris!  Lots of discussions; happy to have your opinion.  I have played on dormant Bermuda in Phoenix in the winter, and I think playing on brown grass is a nice change.  It played very well.
