Am at a Custom Home Builders show in Orlando this week, and these two slick little items are on display. First is A out Golf simulators - these are the kind you see at Golf Galaxy and on the Golf Channel. You can play a bunch of different courses or use the driving range. Very cool graphics and fun as hell.

 

The other is called Swing Track - it's also a golf simulator, but also has a ton of other simulated games - baseball, hockey, soccer, dodgeball, bocce, cricket - and others. Very very cool and also very fun.

 

Swing Track will cost you about $40,000 to install - not sure about About Golf - but either one can have a home in my home...

I've played with both... Found out I throw a football like a girl, and Adam is decent at kicking a soccer ball.

 

About golf gets the job done to play and have fun.

 

But dang... The day my wife lets me drop 40k on a simulator is the day I have multiple private club memberships

Those things look cool, but you know you can make yourself a serviceable golf simulator for under $3k?

 

There's a thread on WRX where a guy did it. Turned out awesome. I guess it's a lot more common than I ever thought!

Was for a couple of days for a Builder's Show...no time for golf at all, even though it was at ChampionsGate!

 

Will be in Orlando again in January for the ASHRAE HVAC show and the PGA show -- if we can hook up then it'd be awesome!  The same builder's group is holding another show in Orlando in March, so there's another opportunity.

 

Let's make it happen!

That would make a great addition to your youth Ministry building! then since you are so busy you would need a youth golf coach hint hint
