Bettinardi has a nice little limited edition putter coming your way this Friday (12/11). It's a carbon steel BB28 with a raw finish. Though the finish is listed as Amber Oxide, you can see from the photos that this one does look really raw.

My guess is that this will be the first of many Limited Run putters as their website now has a separate Limited Run drop down under the putter menu.

What do you think of this one? How about the finish? Are you interested, like me, in the Fujikura carbon fiber shaft?

Only 100 of these will be available. Could make for a cool present for the right golfer.

Here's the LINK to the Bettinardi product page.

I love the industrial look, and fat top line.  i'm getting more drawn to more compact putter heads these days, as well as a more raw or browned finish. Looks like the face has a rolled/rounded edge? Any chance you get to roll one of these Dave??

Looks pretty but not something that I would put in the bag since I don't roll the compact blades all that well. I have a Queen B that looks great until I try and putt with it.

Looks like a vaporized vinegar induced forced patina.

RookieBlue7- sounds like you have a bit of experience in a chem lab. To replicate this, would you heat vinegar to make it steam and hold the head in that steam so the acid does this?

I ask because it's a cool finish and I'm playing around with putter heads and want to do an industrial or heated brownish finish with a green paintfill. If this should be continued in the DIY section, lemme know

I would be interested in this as well.

I have a Yes! Ann lying around to test. Would the vaporized vinegar achieve this kind of darkness?
