Having problems up loading pics

Lately I have attempted to up load pics on a post and I am having problems. I have my cheat sheet out with detailed procedures and no dice. PJ was wanting me to post some of my classic stuff. I even reviewed the procedures posted on here and still no dice. Is there something wrong or am I doing something wrong?

Are you using photobucket or a similar photo sharing website?

 

If you're using photobucket, you'll see under the photo's 4 lines that say (in order, top to bottom) Direct, HTML, IMG and IMG thumb. Left click on the code that's in the Direct box to highlight it, then right click and copy.

 

Back on here, click the picture icon and a box will pop up that says image properties. Right click on the line under URL and paste, then click OK.

 

You should be all set.

Stu... there are site issues for sure. I've discussed it with Barbajo and he's notified an IT/Web guy to look into it. I haven't been able to upload - post my written Edel review either. (probably not going to now anyway)

Grrrr.... I just wrote a somewhat lengthy reply/post in another area and after I clicked to post; the system just sat there. Finally I had to do something so I clicked to view new posts and my post was gone. It didn't save/post! All that for nothing. I know issues like this are being investigated but man it's maddening.

Happens to me from time to time too. If I feel like it's taking too long I just do a quick ctrl+c on the text I typed. Then if the page doesn't load I can just paste it back in a reply.

Must be a PC problem; I have not had any problems from my Mac.  I never do it on my iPad though.

It might be. Used to not have any problems at all. I have issues copying and pasting too. Barbajo said he's aware of a few issues. We'll see.

Only the Admins can delete a post.  You can modify your post by clicking on the Edit button on the bottom left of the Quote button.
