Going through my junk drawers -- came across these gems...

I worked at a radio station in Massachusetts that year and got to cover the US Open at the Country Club.  That was the year Curtis Strange beat Nick Faldo in an 18 hole playoff...magnificent course and an awesome event!

In 88 I did not pay any attention to golf at all.  I was given a set of clubs in 1990 that started my golf adventure.

In 1988, I had just finished my first year living in Florida....was CFO of a small hospital and got to golf about 6 times that year(due to my workload).

Bah, I work in tv and still hoping that I can work an open or something. I interviewed in the tv market for the Greenbrier but didn't get the job.
