Guess I will be playing it for the last time in July....  a Lagoon ? water ski ? Para sail ?  cant wait to see this one.

Me neither.  I have a trip there at the end of June into early July and guess that will be the last time that I will be playing there as well.

Not unexpected.  $500 rounds and nobody on the course vs. a hotel, casino, and activities.  I guess you are going to have to ride in a limo to the golf course!!

First off it's most always empty, second it's way way way too much to play there, great concept and it looks amazing, wish I played there but unfortunately with that kind of model I'm surprised it lasted this long.

I just saw the renderings of the new concept and as of now 9 holes will remain from the course. I assume that will change but that is what Wynn has put out for now.

All casino courses lose money. I work with executives that used to oversea Dancing Rabbit and Fallen Oak....both course lost millions a year. It is an amenity to the casino and generally a loss leader. I am raising money now for a project that has a course being redesigned by Rees Jones and that will also be a net loss for the year.

Kind  of a shame I guess. It's an exceptionally well-manicured and unique course. On some holes you totally forget you're in Vegas, on others the Vegas skyline makes the hole.

 

This is the part where I'd normally add that it's difficult to get less bang for your buck out of real estate than you get with a golf course, but a giant pool? Admission, I suppose. The pond will get more play than the course.

What is this....a golf course for ANTS!!!! How do they expect people to golf when they can't even fit on the course?? The course will have to be at least........ 3x this size.

The current course is on the same land. Looks tight from above and feels wide open when you are playing it.
