kfilly20
I updated a few of my clubs this year so I thought I'd do a WITB for insurance reasons and while I'm at it a few of you guys might want to see them. Here is my current setup: Hate this stupid TM bag so much. Falls over if you look at it wrong. Worst use of $175 in a long time. From the bottom right: Callaway Mack Daddy PM Grind - Love this club. My go to club anywhere around the green. Super easy to open up, great out of the sand, can land it softly super easy. Just a great club. Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Dual Balance - Switched from the Odyssey White Hot #9 last year. Love the weight on this, I rarely miss hit my putts now. My putting has improved a lot since I started using this. Got the new SM6's a week ago also. So far so good. Really like them. Traded in an old SM5 and a TM Tour Preferred. I like having a pretty uniform set Have them in 46 - 8*; 52 - 8*, 56 - 8* : I'm probably going to go trade the 56 in for a 10 bounce though after playing it a bit. Irons are the Taylormade RSI 2's 5-9. Have had these for a full season and have really enjoyed them. Great feel, pretty forgiving, look great. I plan on keeping these until I'm good enough to game the Mizuno MP-5's . All my irons have the True Temper Dynamic Gold AMT S300's. Just got the Titleist 716 T-MB 3 iron. Played 2 rounds with it and I love hitting it. Looking at changing the shaft as I'd like it to have a lower trajectory than it does but other than that its great. Was gaming the r15 hybrids and woods last year and did not like them at all so I went in and hit everything in the new PGA Superstore and decided on the 915's. Picked up a 3W and a 3H. The 3H has a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ 90 HY (White Board) Stiff Flex shaft in it. Love the low launch low spin. Will be gaming this thing for a long time. The 3W has a Aldila Rogue Black 80 .335 wood shaft in stiff. It's long but it gives me enough spin to keep it on the green if I need to. Really happy with the 915 offerings from Titleist. Driver is the R15 head set at slight draw bias. I've got the Accra FX 360 in 60 grams with a stiff profile. Took my a little bit to get used to it but after 10 or so rounds I figured it out and really came around to it. Also have a Titlieist 5H with a Fujikura Fuel 85h Stiff shaft in it. It was a bit of an impulse buy so I haven't played it yet. But on the range its great. The shaft keeps it pretty low and long for a 5H. There might be a time after I've got all my gaps figured out in the coming weeks that it sneaks its way into my bag. Also have the Golf Pride MCC + 4's on everything. Really like them. And here is my ball stash. I mainly play ProV1x's but I've been messing around with the Bridgestone, Callaway and Taylormade balls also. I think I'll be sticking with the ProV1x's I think though. Really happy with my set up for the season. Can't wait to spend as much time as possible out there this year. My goal is to get down to a 5. Really need to work on hitting more putts inside of 7 feet and keeping my driver in good spots. Everything else is pretty solid. Chris O.
That's a great looking set up dude. The SM 6's have been my favorite purchase so far this year. Hope they work well for you. BIG STU
Great overall set up and smart idea taking photos for insurance purposes. I play some golf with and build all my insurance agent's clubs. We have been friends for 12 or 13 years and I have done business with him ever since he opened his business. He has a great sense of humor. He told me one day that if I ever filed a golf club claim that he would tell the company in a disclosure statement that my clubs could be replaced for under $100 at any thrift store but that the content of lead tape was worth more value wise than the clubs. But he knows they may be old but finely tuned machines. But he also said "who in the heck would steal that stuff anyhow?"
