I would just star a new one in the DIY section. I use fingernail polish

I use o.p.i nail polish.i bought metal dental picks off ebay to get all the factory paint out.you can use either a really good nail polish remover or acetone to get paint out.but be careful not to get near ferrules since acetone will loosen apoxy on ferrules.
