Plane Sight Laser review:

Pros

Lightweight

Works great when used with alignment sticks

Immediate feedback

Inexpensive

Cons

Swing in slow motion advised, after several normal swings the sight came out of the club

Overall I liked the laser, but I don't want to be limited to slow motion swinging.

Ok, this will be pretty quick - the laser is pretty basic. A laser pointer at one end and the screw top at the other where you can screw it into your clubs grip. Banana for scale :-)

It took about 5 seconds to attach to my 7 iron. I had to put a little pressure on it, but it was as easy as it could be. I was wondering about the damage it might do to the club, but that was minimal.

I tried it indoors in my living room, and I was immediately impressed. The pointer creates a cool line that shows the swing path pretty clearly. I found I was flatter than I thought, and within just a few swings I was able to get it on plane.

Problem: When I took it to the range on a sunny day, I couldn't see the pointer at all. I was very disappointed. I honestly haven't used it since that day.

Conclusion:

This is a great tool for indoor use, but it is a waste of time outdoors. I can't really recommend it to anyone if the intended use is outdoors. And unfortunately golf is an outdoor sport....

There is no spoon.
